Vardaga offers person-centred health and social care in residential care homes for the elderly.

Vardaga is one of Sweden’s largest private operators in aged care, with approximately 75 residential care homes across the country, where 7,000 employees work with the residents’ health and safety in focus. Vardaga offers residential care in dementia care and somatic care as well as short-term care, as well as regular and irregular respite care.

We aim to instil a sense of security and care, and a feeling of being seen and understood. This means respect, consideration and empathy, as well as showing interest and sensitivity to each person’s needs. Each person is unique and has different wants and needs. Being sensitive to this is fundamental to all our work, and in our organisation, decisions are made close to the residents.

Ulla Tansen is the Head of Division for Vardaga.
