Our businesses primarily offer elderly care, primary care, outpatient care and occupational health services, but our expertise also extends to more specific requirements such as mental and functional disabilities and substance abuse.
The Group currently operates through two strong brands, Mehiläinen and Carema (Carema Care and Carema Healthcare). It has developed a strong platform for growth focusing on both privately and publicly financed care and healthcare services in order to fully capitalise on the specific characteristics of each of its geographic markets.

Ambea is owned by 3i Group plc and 3i's managed funds, which together hold 75% of the shares, along with GIC (15.9%) and management (9.1%).
