Outpatient Clinics
Within Outpatient Clinics Mehiläinen offers a broad range of services such as consultations with general practitioners and specialist physicians, covering specialties such as ENT (ear, nose and throat), orthopedics, gynaecology and ophthalmology.
Mehiläinen also offers endoscopies, such as gastroscopy and colonoscopy, and smaller surgical procedures.
It also includes laboratory services, imaging services such as x-rays, ultrasound, osteoporosis studies, magnetic resonance imaging, and computerized tomography.
Occupational Health
Mehiläinen has a strong position within Occupational Health and offers basic preventive services such as health examinations and appointments with physicians and nurses, and possible consultations with psychologists and physiotherapists.
Medical services include consultations with occupational health physicians, specialist consultations and diagnostics services and procedures provided in cooperation with Outpatient Clinics.
Services also include surveys of workplace conditions. The service concept is designed to promote health and well being in the workplace and prevent work-related illnesses and accidents.
Hospitals
Mehiläinen´s hospital network consists of eight hospitals in eight Finnish cities. Within Hospitals, Mehiläinen´s offering includes a broad range of general and specialist surgical procedures and related services, with a focus on elective day surgeries with orthopedic, ENT and eye surgery as main specialties.
Municipal Healthcare
In Karjaa in the municipality of Raasepori, Mehiläinen offers primary care services, maternity and child healthcare services, dental care as well as home care.
Elderly Care and Specialized Care
Mehiläinen also offers Elderly care at three units and Specialized care. Specialized care includes mental health rehabilitation services in close cooperation with mental health clinics, hospital district representatives and municipal social workers.
Mehiläinen provides these services at five units. It also includes child welfare services, such as psychiatric care services. The services are provided at nine units in close cooperation with the social welfare, healthcare and school authorities.
