Primary care
Primary care includes basic healthcare services, focused on the point, at which a patient first seeks assistance from the healthcare system.
The offer also includes child and maternity healthcare services, home-based care services, physiotherapy services and basic healthcare services for individuals living in nursing homes and other housing.
Specialist services
Specialist services includes orthopedics, rehabilitation, clinical physiology, gynecology, dermatology, ENT (ear, nose and throat) and ophthalmology. Carema Healthcare also provides these services at smaller clinics in local communities, including Friskvernklinikken in Norway.
Psychiatric services
Carema Healthcare offers psychiatric services under the brands Carema Psychiatry and Carema Hjärnhälsan. The methods that are being used is scientifically proven and also known as “evidence-based" care.
Hospital
Carema Healthcare offers specialist services within the area of inpatient care, which means treatment requiring an overnight stay, and elective day surgery. Specialist services provided within Hospitals include orthopedic surgery, inpatient orthopedic rehabilitation and treatment of cardio-pulmonary diseases.
Staffing
Within Staffing, Carema Healthcare supplies qualified medical personnel to the Swedish healthcare market. The operations are focused on customers with short- to medium-term staffing needs, while also offering career opportunities and work flexibility for hospital personnel. Staffing comprises three brands: Rent-A-Doctor, Rent-A-Nurse and Care Team.

Patients shall feel safe in their encounter with Carema Healthcare. The key to patient safety is the personnel´s know-how and experience, and training courses in the area are held continuously.
The management and use of pharmaceuticals shall be secure and safe for the patients. Uniform instructions and work procedures encompass all stages of work from prescriptions to the ordering, administration, treatment and disposal of pharmaceuticals.
This also includes the constant review of medications for individual patients, aimed at reducing the quantity of drugs and ensuring the correct dosage and combination of various pharmaceuticals. Preventative hygiene work is also paramount to patient safety.
