Ambea Group
Environmental Policy
When developing work processes and routines, we try to limit negative effects on the environment as far as possible. This is achieved by ensuring that environmental matters are an integrated part of operational behaviour and practices. Taking this proactive approach also enables us to limit associated health risks for those we care for.
Ambea strives to have work processes and routines that are designed in accordance with the requirements in ISO 14001 and all legal requirements. Environmental systems are designed on an operating company level in order to monitor the environmental effects.
The group management team has the overall responsibility for enabling Ambea to be an environmentally responsible organisation. Every attempt is made to use resources efficiently, minimise waste and choose equipment, materials and techniques that have positive environmental characteristics.
We keep ourselves informed about new knowledge and observations in order to develop our environmental work.
This policy was adopted by the Ambea Board on December 17th 2009
